Aspie or Autie Children: Gold mine or Land mine?
Parents are the primary influence on the development of an aspie or autie child. Education is the key for parents. Read and learn as much as you can. Your behavior will be observed by your autistic child. How you deal with aspergers or autism will be the view your child will grow up emulating.
An aspie or autie child does not want to be raised as a victim or seen as a victim. They have the hopes, desire, and loves that all children have and will have. Just because a child develops differently does not mean they were "STOLEN" by autism.
Acceptance of ones child for being who they are is the greatest form of love a parent can give their child.
