The Beauty of Fairy Tales

AWA is celebrating the lives of two great authors of Fairytales who are believed to have Aspie traits: Hans Christian Anderson and Lewis Carol (next issue).
Fairytales offer children choices of good and bad situations in life, by dreams, solutions, and alternatives.

Fairy tales teach children morality and positive resolution in life's lessons.

Hans Christian Anderson

Hans Christian Andersen was born 203 yrs ago in Denmark to a very poor Cobbler (shoemaker) and his wife who was a washer woman. Hans' father made a toy stage with cut out actors for his play. From a beginning in life of poverty and social isolation, Hans eventually died very wealthy, internationally famous, and popular for his writings, especially, his fairytales.
We hope parents will enjoy reading these fairy tales to their children and share the world of a poor lonely Aspie boy named Hans whose dream of being loved by everyone and successful came true!

It was, indeed, delightful to walk about in the country.

"Here is a barleycorn of a different kind to those which grow in the farmer's fields, and which the chickens eat; put it into a flower-pot, and see what will happen."
